Big Beach Day

Yesterday was somebody's very first trip to la playa! We went down to the Higgins' condo on Indian Rocks Beach and had a BLAST.

Mia was a little unsure of the sand at first.

Umm, it kind of gets EVERYWHERE....

But I kinda like it! Being messy is fun.

She'll be building sandcastles in no time.

Not a big fan of dipping her toes in the cold water though. After the beach we got in the condo pool - boy was that a big hit or what! Mia was half asleep but still splashing around and just loving being in the water. I think the pool may be her favorite place ever.

Oh and by the way, the swimsuit she is sporting here is a size 2T (for 2 year olds). She's looooong! In fact, there was a little 18-month old girl running around the pool and Mia was as tall as she was.
